Education matters to design

Together with universities, we have established an international training environment at the university level. Our design studios follow our hands-on teaching philosophy. The aim is to take part in building a better and more sustainable society through design education.,format

Jacob Jensen Design x KMUTT Bangkok

Our work-integrated learning programme is a place to explore while gaining real world experience. Through practice under the studios’ directors and senior designers, apprentices will learn Jacob Jensen Design’s values, method and process.

Upon completion of the program, successful apprentice designers will have gained professional experience in the operations of an international design studio while collaborating with other studios around the globe. Ultimately, they will have a unique foundation to build their own careers and studios as design professionals in the future.

Collaborating with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, the Jacob Jensen Design studio in Bangkok offers creative services and an apprenticeship programme in partnership with the Design Innovation Practice School of KMUTT. The design studio is located across from the Chao Phraya River on the 15th floor of the Knowledge Exchange Building.

We offer internships for suitable applicants from all over the world. We expect you to have already completed — or be at least halfway through — a relevant education programme in the area of design, graphic design or brand development. Your internship typically has a duration of six months. During that time you will be expected to participate in the daily activities at the studio. We can offer you the chance to work in a friendly and informal international atmosphere with a dedicated team.
