SOMMER electric fan won the latest German Design Award 2022

SOMMER is a collaboration between Jacob Jensen Design and Thai designer brand PDM BRAND.
This beautifully designed home electric fan, named after the Danish word for ‘summer’, takes inspiration from Scandinavian summers. Boasting the essence of Nordic design, this appliance is more than a fan that cools up a living space; it is a decorative accent that blends seamlessly into your modern home environment.

Guaranteed by a winner at the German Design Awards 2022, the special-edition SOMMER will be exhibited at Bangkok Design Week 2021 on 5th to 13th February, 2022.

Design for Sound | A new experience, over half a century in the making, was unveiled at Design Shanghai 2021, China.

Jacob Jensen was well known for the ground-breaking design language developed for Bang & Olufsen. Between 1964 and 1991, Jacob Jensen was responsible for 234 products, including the award-winning, iconic Beolit 400, Beogram 4000, Beomaster 5000 and Beomaster 1900.

Now, the Danish Brand JACOB JENSEN® has introduced the S7 sound system as the brand's newest design for sound experience, seamlessly integrating sound quality, technology, design, and craftsmanship for the best home experience.

The new JACOB JENSEN® Audio collection has the S7 system, which includes a soundbar, a subwoofer and two satellite speakers and the S5 system, which includes a soundbar and a subwoofer.
Both S7 and S5 systems will be available in Mainland China and Hong Kong during September 2021.

The new and dynamic visual identity of HomeHuk is freshly launched on e-commerce platforms for Thai online shoppers.

We have taken on the task to strategically revitalise HomeHuk, a leading Thai home & living distributor and e-commerce, through a restructuring of the brand architecture and by shaping the brand visual to stand out from the cluttered dime-store competitors on e-commerce platforms.

The JACOB JENSEN® Electronic Parking Disc 3 expresses the clean design language developed by Jacob Jensen and refined over more than 60 years. In an ever increasingly busy world, the new Electronic Parking Disc gives you one less thing to worry about. It automatically sets the parking time, and lets you carry on. As an additional feature, the parking disc can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the wind screen, allowing for most flexibility. All you have to do is choose when installing and the device will automatically detect the orientation.

DAIRY HOME

Soaring to new heights.

Dairy Home's new brand identity and communication visual, a unique result from Jacob Jensen Design's collaboration in 2019, have received an overwhelming response from organic dairy lovers in Thailand after last year launch.

With a clean and highly distinctive identity, the brand has gained consistency and customer appeal, overshadowing competitors in the dairy aisle.

This raises the sales volume by 50% within six months and expects to mark the newest height at 200 million baht by year-end. Some items became highly sought after in supermarkets and were available by pre-order only.

Vision by Danwood

Danwood a modern manufacturer of turnkey prefabricated wooden house in Europe, with establishment in Denmark and production in Poland.

Jacob Jensen Design has taken on the task of designing a modular furniture including sofa with big and small-sized integrated or separate table including accessories to be used in reception and public waiting areas within offices.

JACOB JENSEN CELEBRATES THREE DECADES OF ITS CLASSIC WATCH SERIES BY RELEASING A FRESH REDESIGN

31st MARCH 2019

Inspired by the daily cycles of day and night/light and dark, the stylish CLASSIC watch was designed in 1985 by Jacob Jensen Design. The design of the refreshed CLASSIC series builds upon the iconic design elements of its predecessor, retaining its minimalistic spirit while giving it a modern interpretation that will satisfy a new generation of design-savvy watch lovers.

The design has been retouched to fit modern times by bringing increased visual depth to the case through the thin chamfer on the dial, refined faceted surfaces on the sides and the use of solid stainless steel mesh straps. The characteristic golden color continue with elegant black and silver still remain, both of them unmistakably carrying and expressing the aesthetics of the JACOB JENSEN brand.

The tribute version is available globally in the first quarter of 2019.

JACOB JENSEN EXTENDS AWARD-WINNING WATCH COLLECTION

9TH NOVEMBER 2018

JACOB JENSEN® is extending the award-winning Strata watch collection. The remarkable watch series from Danish design studio Jacob Jensen Design has been honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award of 2015 as well as the 2017 German Design Award. Now the popular Strata series introduces stainless steel mesh straps and simplified dial faces in fashionable colour combinations.

The JACOB JENSEN Strata series watch collection was introduced in 2014 and features models for both ladies and gents. The gents’ models are available with a circular date window at the six o’clock position. Six new models is released in the autumn of 2018.

COTTO, Thailand’s leading innovator of sanitary ware, present a unique bathroom experience with the SKIVE Collection - Design by Jacob Jensen.

The bathroom series, consisting of a washbasin, a faucet, a toilet and a shower panel, is a combination of cutting-edge production technology and clean, aesthetic Scandinavian design where user-oriented functionalities, ultra-modern forms and natural materials meet.

"With the SKIVE Collection, we have focused on the bathroom as a vital part of your living space where functionality and usability built into the design is held in high regard. Dry and wet areas are clearly outlined and organized to optimize daily use, and different tactilities in the finishes define the functionalities," says Creative Director Sebastien Maleville, who has headed the SKIVE collection design team.

XPOWER and Jacob Jensen Design receive the iF Gold award 2018

12th March 2018

On Friday the 9th of March, XPOWER and Jacob Jensen Design was honoured with the prestigious iF Gold award 2018 for the product Vision; a modular power track.

The gold-statement was: »This flexible power supply strip contributes to solving the question of how to get electricity to where you need it in the office or home. High-quality materials and nearly invisible joints mark this product. An ideal cable management system allows short cable lengths.«

The iF award ceremony took place at BMW Welt in Munich, Germany, where COO at XPOWER, Frank Wu, and Chief designer and the CEO at Jacob Jensen Design, received the golden iF award.

JACOB JENSEN™ PRESENTS ITS CONTEMPORARY LINEAR SERIES WATCH DESIGNS

The Linear series is the latest men’s collection of timepieces exhibiting the familiar, ultramodern JACOB JENSEN™ design signature. As the name suggests, its aesthetic is based on a series of perfectly proportioned lines and linear markings that results in this avant-garde series of timepieces.

The Linear series design embodies the ‘Form Follows Feelings’ approach, which Jacob Jensen Design has continued to refine and evolve, since it was developed during the early 1960s by the company’s founder, Jacob Jensen

Launch of Phicomm K3 router designed by Jacob Jensen

One of China’s top manufacturers of networking and communications products, Phicomm, has officially launched their 2017 hero product: the Phicomm K3 router designed by Jacob Jensen.
The partnership brings a new understanding of how routers looks like and how we interact with them. The Phicomm K3 is a balanced combination of the Scandinavian Jacob Jensen design language and Phicomm’s state-of-the-art technology. The slim shape and narrow front makes it an attractive piece of the interior decoration. It features eight integrated antennas that provide excellent Wi-Fi coverage with the highest speed. Before the launch, Phicomm K3 was already awarded the prestigious international iF Design Award 2017.

Jacob Jensen was among the last great Danish designers belonging to the golden era of the 1950s known as Danish Modern. He was the first Dane to train as an industrial designer and is considered a pioneer in Danish corporate history.
